We invite you to embark on a truly magnificent tour through Georgia's captivating protected areas of Kazbegi, Khevsureti, and Tusheti. Riding through this natural wonderland is an unparalleled delight. Our 8-pass circle tour, conducted on Tushetian horses, offers a unique exploration of these regions, each boasting its own distinctive ethno-cultural traditions. Prepare to be mesmerized as each area unveils its breathtaking landscapes and rich heritage. Trail riding amidst the mountains provides an exceptional way to immerse yourself in this rugged wilderness. Tbilisi airport - Tbilisi - Ananuri - Jvari Pass (2379m) - Stephantsminda

Late night arrival and transfer to the hotel. In the morning we head to Stephantsminda via Jvari pass (2387m). On the way we will visit Ananuri fortress built by the Dukes of Aragvi and its earliest parts date from the 13th century. The fortress is on the UNESCO Tentative list. Lunch in Stephantsminda wich is the starting point of your horse riding. It is a small town at the foot of Mount Kazbek (5047m) at an altitude of 1750m. After a short break you will meet your guides and horses and ride to Gergeti St Trinity Church situated on the right bank of the river Chkheri (the left tributary of the river Terek) close to Georgia`s 3rd highest mountain, Mt. Kazbegi.

Kazbegi - Juta
The first riding day to adjusted saddle and enjoy the Introductory ride the unique Tushetian horses. In the morning we`ll start the ride to the east through wide Sno valley, towards the village of Juta. After lunch in Zeta camping we`ll ride to Chaukhi mountains to the rock climbers base camp and back to Zeta camping. Overnight at Zeta camping (2200m) where you`ll have a good opportunity to feel the mountain atmosphere with your heart - listen to the Mountain Rivers, take photos with a background of Chiukhi rock massif.

Juta - Arkhotistavi pass - Chimgha
We`ll start early after breakfast. lead the narrow path along the river Snostskali up to the Arkhotistavi pass. This is one of the longest days of the trip and you will need to dismount and lead your horse down a short but steep section. While descending from the pass between villages Juta and Chimgha. Overnight in village Chimgha of Arkhoti valley, at a local home stay or tents.Overnight in village Chimgha at the local home stay.

Chimgha - Roshkistavi Pass (2940m) - Abudelauri lakes (2670m) - Roshka
We`ll enjoy the late breakfast before starting to Roshka Pass. The ride goes through the newly built road. After crossing the pass and descending at the foot of the pass we head to Abudelauri colorful lakes.Overnight at the guesthouse in Roshka

Roshka - Gudani - Gudani ridge - Kistani - Shatili
The ride starts from the village of Gudani where we get by 4x4 car. From the village we`ll mount and start ascending to the ridge and head towards Kistani pass. From the pass we descend to the village kistani and continue to Shatili on the road. The cluster of fortified flat-roofed stone dwellings and towers built mainly between the 7th and 13th centuries, which functioned both as homes and as a fortress guarding the north-eastern border of the country. ThereOn the way to Shatili there will be opportunities for a few trots and canters on the road. Overnight in Shatili at the traditional style tower.

Shatili - Atsunta pass - Atsunta camp
Early morning we head to Mutso fortress - one of the former Khevsur strongholds of Khevsureti. Its medieval fortified dwellings and towers are arranged on vertical terraces above the gorge. We continue our ride through alpine meadows passing some villages and ruins up to our campsite, at 2900m.

Atsunta camp - Girevi - Baso
After breakfast we start our ride to Atsunta pass (3527m), and lead the horses to descend to Kvakhidi valley along Pirikiti Alazani river, pass some ruins, villages and get to village of Pharsma. Overnight in Basoat a local guest house.

Baso - Nakaicho pass (2900m) - Jvarboseli
From Baso we`ll cross Pirikiti Alazani river and start the steep ascent to Nakaicho pass (2900m). From there the path goes down through the stunning views on Gometsari valley to the villages of Dadikurta and Verkhovani. Overnight in Jvarboseli at a local guest house.

Jvarboseli - Koklata - Alaznistavi hut
After early breakfast we head off to the village of Koklata and Sajinchvle. This is truly a wonderful area with the views on different valleys of Tusheti, with the alpine meadows adorned with the sheep herds scattered on the mountain slopes. After lunch picnic we`ll continue riding Alongside Alaznistavi River. By passing some shepherds` huts we`ll reach our overnight camp

Alaznistavi hut - Sakornistavi pass (3145) - Tsiplovana
After an early breakfast we`ll head towards Sakornistavi pass. This part of the tour is very spectacular. Here we ride at up along the twisted mountain path exploring striking landscapes. After pass we descend to Tsiplovana gorge where we overnight in tents.Breathe in the freedom of endless wilderness and far-reaching horizons

Tsiplovana - Masara - Tbatana - Pankisi valley
After breakfast we continue up over rugged trails that zig-zag along steep mountainsides to Masara. Once we reach Masara we continue along the Rkinis Mta ridge towards Tbatana and Pankisi valley where we overnight at the Kists guest house.The Pankisi Gorge is located in Alazani River Valley which runs from the High Caucasus, and near Pankisi becomes a rapid mountain river, a region inhabited by Muslims and Christians often cultivating the traditions of both religions.

Pankisi valley - Gombori pass - Tbilisi
We meet up with our driver to continue down to Pankisi valley, visit a winery in Zemo Alvani to taste two different types of wine and continue to Tbilisi through Gombori pass (1600m).
