You will take a morning train to Zugdidi at 08:00 am. After lunch, in Zugdidi, the driver will pick you up and transfer you to Mestia.
Overnight at the guesthouse in Mestia
During your stay in Svaneti, your itinerary will encompass various directions. Initially, on the first day, your guide will lead you on an introductory skiing excursion around Mestia. Over the following days, you'll embark on a continuous exploration of the region's different valleys, ridges, peaks, and slopes.
The specific program for each day will be determined by your guide upon your arrival in Mestia, taking into account the prevailing snow and weather conditions. The first day will serve as an introductory session, designed to be relatively easy, allowing the guide to assess your fitness level and skiing proficiency. Subsequent days will be planned accordingly.
Expect each day to involve physical activity lasting from 6 to 8 hours, with vertical ascent ranging from 900 to 1200 meters. This comprehensive itinerary ensures an immersive and rewarding ski touring experience in the breathtaking landscapes of Svaneti.
The driver will transfer you back to Zugdidi, where you take an evening train to Tbilisi.
